Christmas at the Bonine House
In 2012 a local garden club asked if URSCC was going to decorate for Christmas, they wanted to hold their meeting there. Several volunteers said sure! and Christmas at the Bonine House (CBH) was born. URSCC members took rooms in various states of disrepair and transformed the entire house into a Christmas postcard. Santa and Mrs. Claus were invited, and over 1000 visitors marveled at the transformation, seeing for the first time the potential of the Bonine House to host this and other events. CBH has become a family tradition the first and second weekend in December. Every year is a different experience as rooms are sponsored by new members or returning sponsors choose different rooms to decorate. It’s a lovely way to start the Christmas season, we look forward to seeing you.
